Building in Blood

Here’s Sean and I discussing the intricacies of collaboration, specifically around Built of Blood and Bricks, our favoured second child. It’s still something I think fondly about and a way of working with someone that I’d love to try again.  Here’s us:

“If I remember rightly the first thing that you sent me were the images that would later become that of our protagonist; so with this in mind, do you often sellotape bits of paper to your face and take pictures?”

“All the time, it’s a non invasive face lift technique for middle aged cartoonists. Possibly.”
